Study Abroad
Enhancing academic excellence is one of the core values of a Providence College education. In that quest, the experience and understanding of other cultures and traditions are necessary components in preparing today’s students for a world more interconnected than any previous generation has seen. Study abroad provides alternative learning environments so students can benefit from new academic perspectives and intercultural experiences.
The Providence College Center for Global Education (CGE) administers PC study abroad in collaboration with other campus offices: from semester and academic year opportunities to faculty-led courses and co-curricular international service trips. The aim of the CGE is to provide the PC community with academically-minded global programming that is innovative, collaborative, and safe while championing accessibility to ensure all members of the Friar Family can participate in these transformative experiences.
